Well friends...lets know something about the dream techology of microsoft-SURFACE COMPUTING...Surface computing is the term for the use of a specialized computer graphic user interface (GUI) in which traditional GUI elements are replaced by intuitive, everyday objects. Instead of a keyboard and mouse, the user interacts directly with a touch-sensitive screen. It has been said that this more closely replicates the familiar hands-on experience of everyday object manipulation.
Friends it just means that instead of our keyboard and mouse which are considered as traditional GUI, we will be using our fingers on a layout kind of thing and will be working on computer. We can see the picture and understand this one.
This is really a wonderful technology. After the introduction of this technology we will be saying BYE BYE to our todays computers and will be using computer as some layout kind of device. For eg imagine you have to transfer songs from your ipod to your friends ipod. According to the technology just keep both the ipod on the layout kind of thing and drag the songs which will be displayed like files to your friends ipod. Your work is done. Its so simple no!!! Ya friends this is really amazing and wonderful experience to work with it. Friends look at the way our technolgy is developing!!!!
Wonderful technology which will take the concept of "computers" to a whole new level.
